The switch for the glove box light is located on the L/H hinge. The socket is where you plug in the emergency lamp.If the motor and the light are inop, check fuses. Also check the white plastic multi-connectors on the fusebox. Pull them out and check for signs of overheating, discoloring (brown) or warping. Or perhaps someone working under the dash somehow disconnected some wires. Good Luck, Brian |

Checking all the lights in my car. The glove box lights are not getting power. The glove box "opening " motor does work. Looking through my owners manual, has a diagram of an electric socket in glove box. My car has no socket there, does yours? Anybody know where the switch is that determines if the glove box is open or closed? Thanks, Taso |
