Also bought wires from the same seller for my 87 Mondial 3.2. Sealed original Cavis (2 bags - 1 per bank). Fast, friendly service from Elena at Melanione. Would recommend them. Also buy the spark plug extensions and repalce at the same time. She lists both kinds (red- resistor, black - non-resistor) fairly frequently. Going rate for those has been $55 for the set. She'll ship wires and extenders together. |

Thanks everyone. Think I'll buy a set next time they're listed. Expect this car will be around for a while...

Carl, I purchased a set of wires from the same seller on Ebay and they were the original sealed in a plastic bag, cavis wires. I know the auction is over but I have seen them list the wires for the 328 on serveral occasions so you just need to keep an eye out for them again. Shipping was fast also on them. Cant beat the price for original wires. |

Hey Carl, If you go to Pep Boys. Buy the generic 8mm wires with the straight ends, you can bend them to 45 deg, then fit the silicon boots with lots of soapy water. Dry them. Then slid them into the cap with silicon lube. (This operation takes the most patience.) They will be yellow, but hey!! They only cost $60.00 Work great too. |

Carl--if they're the real deal, that is a great price. I bought a complete set of Cavis wires, all covered and assembled for my '85 QV from George Evans Auto for $249 a few months ago. He maintains good prices as well . |

They sure look OEM from the pic on ebay.. Is the price for both banks @ $219.00 or one bank? If thats the price for both banks looks like a good deal to me.

Hello everyone, Noticed the following listing on Ebay & have been toying with idea of purchase: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1874902684 Emailed the seller and was told these are OEM from supplier to Ferrari & recieved the following picture from end of the box: which matches my parts book #s for 328 wires. Now Ebay is the epitome of "caveat emptor" & my current plug wires are fine but...hate to pass up spare parts at a good price ($219 instead of typical $450). Anyone have experience/purchase parts/comments on these? Thanks once again, Carl |
