In addition to the smoke, it'll kind of smell/stink for a while too! Alarming at first, bit it wears off within a few hundred miles.

The smoke from a new tubi is expected. All the old weld pieces that fell off inside, and the coating they put on it is burning off. Dont worry about, just enjoy!!!

thanx...i was thinking about the screws :-) but thought 2 come here and look cuz i post this before i went out :D Test drive went ok...just some smoke from the right side pipe ?? maybe cuz its new ?? and the hoses is sucking air..so i guess ill plug a screw :D ..thanx Red..please guys if you know some ideas or help..please post...:-)

Finds some screws, and just plug the hoses, and tie strap them up. These is no harm in doing this, and no emissons related problems. Hope this helps.

Hi :-)first i would like to say hi 2all :-) my first post here :-)my problem is im installing a TubiExhaust(360M F1 2001) all went great but when i came in2 the vacuum operated valve(stock Exhaust)and how 2 remove it :-( so i searched here and there..found out its ok if i remove the system BUT..there is a hoses that conect to a small gray unit from the vacuum operated valve ??? so my Q is. what should i do..keep the hose or remove it..? and if i do so..should i close the hole in gray unit.. sorry never done this before if some one can help or direct me 2 manula or pic's i would be thankful.. here is a link to some pic's http://photos.yahoo.com/mbnviper
