Hi Omar, Remove the spare tire & the front cover for the brake master cylinder etc. (fiberglass piece in cowl area). There's one heater core on either side in a squarish black box. Haven't had to remove, but looks like it is bolted to bracket (and heater hose connections). Sorry can't help you more. If you're going to drain/refull cooling system anyway might want to inspect the other side & remainder of cooling hoses. No time like now!

According to the records on my car, the previous owner took the heater cores to a local radiator shop for a rebuild. They're listed as Fiat parts, and the shop charged under $100 for the rebuild. Just FYI |

Is this one of the parts that is teh same as on an other car? or must I get it from a f-supplier. If so, Algar seems to be most recommended, would they have 328 parts? Any other place I should look at? Any idea how much these cores go for in a 328? Finally, how much work is installation, would I be able to do it my self? Thanks for the help 1988 328 GTS |
