My 328 wiring diagram shows that:
Brown is #1(ground)
Black is #2
White is #3
Blue is #4

Note: I'm calling the ground #1 (brown wire). I can't tell left & right from the W/D.

Hope this helps...

P.S. Keep in mind that if your mirror still doesn't work correctly, there may be a problem with the switch.

Now is a time I am really going insane. I am trying to wire an electric mirror to the 308 and I can't get the wiring right. Here are the details:

Vitaloni baby turbo mirror with 4 cables:

Blue - To motor
Black - To motor
White - To electric clutch that engages the up down adjustment of the mirror
Brown - To electric clutch that engages the up down adjustment of the mirror

All of this goes wired to an early 80's BMW 7 Series (this is the same part Ferrari uses) mirror switch that has 6 outlets. If you are looking at the switch I numbered the 6 outlets 1-6 from left to right. This is a single mirror setup so the #1 outlet is dead. Does anybody know what the wiring sequence is for this mirror? I have been at it for hours and can't figure it out.
