Yea kinda guessed that Paul but thanks. Just want to run it in the garage to warm it up and bleed the air out of the cooling system. I'll do a little engine cleaning at the same time then I'll change the belts .

You can run it with them off, just dont drive it. If mr. rock meets mr. timing belt and drive gear, it will be a sad day.

Just going through a WP replacement and wanted to do a leak test before I change timing belts. Has anyone started up their car without the timing covers on? I don't believe it is a problem because of the lips on the pulleys but just wanted to check before I lite it up. I want to make sure that I am leak free before doing the belts.
