why do they have posts on the back that allow them to pulled off? |

Just about the right size for a spare fuse box and a couple of relays, but I think they're actually for maps. |

i was always told they were "map" pockets. i have never used them for that, but it seems to be the right size. |

Have had car for over two years now and still can't figure out what is the purpose of the pockets at the back of the driver and passenger door sill (about 5"x6") that slide out if pulled upward. Any official ideas (car registration)- unofficial ideas (spare seat belt motor). |
