That depends - how do you drive? on the track? on the street? spirited drives on the back roads might be improved, but no more than what you could probably benefit from some pads and upkeep of flushing the fluid out. But if you do replace the fronts, it would be recommended to up the rears as well, as to keep the balance on the car. I'm unsure of how the calipers are mounted on the 550's, but it would require moving the caliper for a bigger rotor (most likely) but you shouldn't have any wheel clearance issues at all. |

Thinking about putting a pair of 380mm brake kit in the front and leave the rear in stock 310mm. The kit is made by Movit, a German company. THey recommend changing the rear to 330mm as well but I wonder the extra benefit given the car is front-heavy and the cost. Like to hear your comment. |
