I'll be sure to post my results. Thank you all for the tips. It is a little too cold in the garage t odo the job now but I'll tackle it as soon as it gets a little warmer. |

Verell, until you get around to taking the motor out, take off the arms, pull the tiny c-clips on the shafts, and remove the rock hard rubber sealing o-ring (and leave out), and lube the heck outa the shafts and put back together. I just did a 77 B...much improved. |

Tazio, Preventive Maintainance/re-lube of my wiper motor is on my 'round2it' list. Let us know how it comes out. Especially if it's a dramatic speedup in wiper action. |

Hi Remove dust cover under hood. Move heater water control. Undo all HW on wiper arms. Disconnect motor connector Undo 3 bolts holding motor to frame. Some form of contortion is required. Undo bolt at RH side of mechanism. Remove washer hose. Fiddle and gentle coerce the unit out from underneath the body work. It took some fiddling and twisting! It took me about an hour to get mine out, GT4 should be similar to GTB. Service Time Manual say 1.4 hr to replace mechanism. |

I want to remove my wiper motor and re-grease all of the moving parts in the wiper assembly. How do you access and remove these parts for service? |
