The levers on the calipers are well known to stick and fail to return to rest even with the spring, and therefore will not bring tension on the cables.

The immediate solution if they are stuck is to reach underneath and tap them back lightly with a small hammer.

New ones should be availible, although they were always Very Expensive. I did just read somewhere that 'full kits' are availible for rebuilding now, maybe White Post can handle the rebuilding of the caliper and especially the Handbrake Mechanism.

My rear brake calipers has problems with the
handbrake mechanism.
The springs on the calipers doesnt brings force on the brake cable ?
But these brear brake calipers are no longer
available.

Any ideas ????
