Same here...the flasher / switch was the culprit. Been working fine ever since. |

For what its worth, when I first got my 80 308, I had similar problems and it was the flasher relay... |

Had the same problem with mine. Local Fer. shop did not have one in stock ~ $50. Went to Porshe ..328 .. they didn't have one either (~$30). Eventually .... VW Golf ...$21. Take the old one with you when you go to buy it. |

Mitchell: You're on the right track. It sounds like a classic flasher (relay) failure. Call Ted Rutlands in Tucker for a new one. |

Guys, my 84 QV just started acting up. Since it has been cold as heck in Atlanta, my turn signals will not blink. They stay on, either direction. The green light indicator on the bottom of the speedo stays on, as do the outside signals, but no blinking. Last week it started to blink on its own, but not since. I think the flasher box in the fuse area is bad? I have no clue. Anyone?? |

Mike, I don't think the 308's have that feature. |

That will happen if one of the bulbs is burned out (front or rear)... the superquick flash is intended to notify you. |

Randall, I just had the same problem on my drivers side, turned out to be a broken wire on the front turn signal. Since it's both of yours I'd start by cleaning all of the contacts. |

Both the right and left turn signals are acting wierd. They have a tendencey to flash extremely fast. Outside of the vehicle, the left ones you can see flashing quickly and the right ones don't appear to be flashing at all. To make matters worse, this problem goes away on occasion, although lately it's been around more often than not. |
