Roger- Oftentimes the 89-90 model 348's have had their updates completed by the previous owner, however the four biggest updates on the 348 line were:
*Bosch 2.5 to Bosch 2.7 ignition (1990)
*Double plate to single plate clutch (1991)
*Delco alternator to Nippondenso alternator (1992)
*Wider track (1993)
If you search the archives, there are several additional threads on this subject.
Lastly, the two best books I have found for my car were:
*Original Ferrari V8 (Keith Bluemel)
*Forza #30 (348 buyer's guide)

Question:
My 348TS says it was manufactured in November of 1990. I have heard that early 89-90 models had several issues ? Can anyone explain this or possibly generate a list of issues i should be looking out for. |
