The mounts are certainly strong enough (seat, floor, and b-pillar), they're carrying the same loads with different hardware. I always wanted to offer the same modification while in the dealer network, but liability in modification is too great a risk with the belt system. As an owner, go for it. You'll either require the ROW trim, or find a great upholstery shop to help you. |

Jeff, I was thinking of doing the same thing - any idea how to take off the trim piece that covers the pillar where the mouse ends up? Is the receptor for the lap belt sufficient for a standard lap/shoulder belt? |

I know this has been discussed before. But I would like to convert my TR from the motorized shoulder belts to the Euro style belts. Has anyone done this? It doesn't appear to be that bad of a project. Has anyone out there have a Euro TR parts car with black interior that they'd sell me the belts from? |
