I'm running 275/40 ZR 17's on the rear and 225/45 ZR 17's on the front with Michelin Pilots on my 87 Mondial Cab. They came with the car but they look and handle great. You can see a picture in the showroom section here http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/18/184387.html?1043425959 I do not know the exact offset but I seem to remember reading another thread that said Mondials needed either 45mm or 55mm. |

Ashley. I have 16" wheels on my 83 Mondial QV. Not xactly sure the width, as they came with the car. The tires i have are front 225/50/16 an 245/45/16. This seems to be popular on these cars. Do not buy anything less that 16" as you will have a hard time finding tires to fit properly. |

The difference for the Mondial chassis (chassii?) is that they use much larger "+" offset wheel design -- more like the 328ABS and later cars rather than 308s (although I'd always welcome some more confirmation/denial of this so if anyone's got more solid Mondial offset numbers please post). ashley -- if you pull one of your metric wheels off you should be able to measure your existing offset fairly easily with just a flat surface and a ruler. |

Ashley: Do a search for "QV WHEELS" (use "and" not "or") within FerrariChat and you'll find a lot of discussion. Right now there's a "group buy" going on if you check out the thread at http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/195858.html?1043253220
