Whoever did it, did a great job! Looks good. Sounds like its relay "F" (on the top, right-hand corner of the board) acting-up. |

After checking the reservoir levels and looking for leaks in lines and at the 4 corners, I suspect the culprit is the dastardly valve. The light does fluctuate from off, to flickering, to on, independently it seems, of pedal pressure. So, I don't think the brakes are a problem, but I will have to exorcise the valve demons. The car is a North American Dino that (lucky for me) had a very good conversion to Euro bumpers, including rear fenders, about 12 years ago. |

Could be the brake-pressure limiting valve acting-up. This could cause excess pressure to build for the rear circuit and trip the switch that's mounted on the front fire-wall (only seen from below the car). PS: I checked your photo of your car, sweet. Is it a Euro with US side-marker lights or a US car with Euro bumpers? |

The red brake failure light suddenly appeared during a drive yesterday (not the emergency brake light, but a twin on the other side of the speedo gauge). Brakes still worked fine, perhaps, just perhaps a little spongier. Any thoughts on steps to diagnose the true evil that lurks? Much thanks. |
