I had that on my BMW and it was a leaking gas tank. May be just a hair fracture on the top of the tank. With the presure from the half full tank it pushes it out.
I would not drive the car. If you can smell it it is there. Let me know how much you want for your burned out 355....in a few days...
just kidding, but please don't take this lightly. |

I am smelling gas inside the car when the tank is anywhere from 1/2 to full and when I go around corners. There is no visible leak from the gas tank on the garage floor and the gas cap is tight and sealed. I am going to take the car to the mechanic but I was wondering if any other 355 owners have experienced this. Thanks, Tom |
