Hey Kurt, None, as I said that was the answer they emailed me back. Why don't you try them and see what they say. |

Hey Craig, I went to the site you recommended in your comments and checked out ERA. I emailed RE: questions I had about installing the ERA and they emailed me back this comment: "We do not recommend the ERA for Ferraris. Sorry we could not be of any help." So just to let you guys know that this is the message I got. Thanks anyway Craig for your response. Warren |

Hey guys, Is Kurts comment valid? Is there a instrument that we can install between the sending unit and the speedo. head to get a accurate speedo. reading? Frankly I haven't heard of ERA but it may exist. |

I used a pocket GPS to get an independant measure of speed. Also tried it on the train from here to Paris. 200 MPH like they say. |

Hi Kjell, I've recently installed a navigation unit, since my co-driver (wife) does not read maps (sickness, I wonder why). Anyway: The navigation unit (Pioneer) collects speed pulses, which was taken from the speedometer input. It works fine, meaning the pulses are of a standard nature. I did not check them with an oscilloscope, but I have the ability. Maybe you are in the Uppsala region (Arlanda is close). Come and see me and we can take a ride with the oscilloscope. regards /Krister |

Anybody got any experience with the Electronic Ratio Adapter (ERA) from Abbott Enterprises? According to their own homepage www.atrol.com this piece of electronics is fitted between the speed sensor and the speedometer. Input from the speed sensor creates a corrected signal to the speedometer. The ratio between in and out is adjustable to get an accurate reading. Will this work on a Ferrari? I think all F's with electronic speedometer are using the same type of speed sensor. Anybody know exactly what output the F speed sensor gives - voltage and frequency wise? I guess the waveform must be some kind of square shape. brgds Kurt |
