Adam G. -- any more information on the "problem" you had with the TR rear EBC GreenStuff pads? I bought front and rear GreenStuff pad sets about 6 months ago, and am worried that I'll have the same problem when I try to install them this Spring/Summer. Can you please give the PN of the rears you had trouble with so I can check if the rear set I have is the same? |

This is a little trick that works everytime.Try bevelling the edges of the friction material of the brake pad. you don't have to remove to much. just use some 50 grit sand paper and and round the edges like you would a peice of wood. |

I just put the EBC Green Stuff pads on mine. The fronts are great. Stop well, no squeel, and no dust. The rear though did not fit 100%, so I am checking with the Mfg. They are Street / Track pads. |

Make sure you use the rubber coated metal shims with graphite lubricant behind the pads. The Goo or commonly named Gorilla Snot just makes a mess and does little good for squeal. |

I have the everyday, drive to the store, kind of pads and don't have more than the occasional squeal when they are cold. The problem with the stock pads is the amount of dust they throw off. Has anyone found a street pad that doesn't make a mess of the wheels in 10 miles? Maybe you just have to pick your poison; squealing or dust....Norm |

Are they track pads? If so, that's pretty normal. You can put anti-squeal goo on the back of the pads to reduce it somewhat, but you'll still squeal to a stop. I know mine do. |

Front brakes squeal during street use. Doesn't happen under hard or track braking. Have new rotors and pads. Any experience or ideas? |
