Bret is right. Cats are very easy to take off and put on. Should have 4 bolts on each side. Hopefully, you have the cats when you bought the car? |

Catalytic converters are usually quite easy to fit if you have them still. I've never seen a car that was difficult (although I'm sure there are some). Just slide under there and take a look. Most even automatically give proper bolt tension when you fasten them by means of a spring which clamps it down. You should be able to do it no problem really. |

Hello all, my dear F355 didnt pass emissions control today. very sad matter this is. I think its probably because the catalysators are taken off :-) This gives me roughly 15 hp more and a marvellous metallic ferrari sound that bounces off walls and makes peoples heads turn. Now, is it hard to fit the cat-units yourself, or should I leave it to a garage? Peter |
