The late 328 front suspension is different to the "old" one. Was that the test bench for the 348-suspension, as I have heard? Or was it a false ruomor.

Similar enough that for all intents and purposes the 328 is the same as the 308, just as the 348 is the same as F355. Yes, there are many detail differences, the basics are the same, though.

Engineering wise, what's really interesting is that 308, 308GT4, Dino, Mondial, Mondial T, 328, 348, 355, TR, 512TR, 288 GTO, and F40 are all the same or similar enough to recognize the family resemblance.

Keeps cost to manufacture reasonable.

Our suspension systems will work on all these and other Ferrari's. Many detail differences, but the foundations are the same.

Weight, track, length are different - maybe more?
