Hello John,
I have been a Recaro dealer for over 20 year
on the street seats and office chairs. I can
help you on the 308 application if you wish.

I love Recaro's too. I have not done your installation, but have done others.

Try Northstar Motorsports, (800) 356-2080. They also can get adapters and carry the Recaro full line.

I generally get the new seats together with the car befor deciding whether I'll fabricate my own or purchase adapters. Recaro's may come very close to bolt-in on your car. Though adapter fabrication is not something to take lightly as the seat is primary safety in a crash.

I did a search for Recaro seats but came up empty for what I want to know.

Has anyone changed their 308 seats to Recaro?

If so how did they fit? Were their seats the same hight, width, legnth as the originals?
Who did you order them from?

The leather on mine is starting to rip at the sewn seams on the bench part of the seat and was thinking of replacment instead of repair. By the time I went to all the trouble of having them repaired I figured I might as well just replace them with a better seat.
