Verell,

MANY thanks for the info mky friend, but too late. Guess i prematurely ordered from Sadcom and they should be here soon... so throw another $xx into the "money wasted on car" tally. ARGH! Oh well, could be worse i guess... like no beer in the world :-)

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven,
The 3x8 heater filters are nothing but 1/4" open cell foam.

Look in the A/C dept of any HW store for window a/c filter foam sheet (about 14" x 18" more or less).

Remove the old filters, measure the opening, cut out replacement pieces & you'll have enough foam left over for several more filters.

308 Carb air filters:

http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/199600.html?1044221572

FYI: I paid around $40Cdn for the Baldwin (normally, their air filters are much cheaper than that, but the Ferrari filter was a "Special Order" item).

Peter Sedlak is speaking of the carb 308 air filter. He is right, the factory UFI air filter for a carb 308 is around $100 or so.

I paid about $38 for my K&N delivered to my door. Here's a link that will take you to the page for a 2v inj. 308, just do some searching from there.

On a side note, I've seen these go for $60+ on ebay...

Greg,

I only know the PN for the Carb car. Jeff's prices look spot one. I guess the British are good for something ;)

< $20 if you buy it at AutoZone.
I just posted an air filter tip a few hours ago, happened to think of it while asking for Unobtainium suggestions.

See today's post in this thread:

$105?!? Outrageous. Order them from a place like T. Rutlands instead, and save yourself some money.

I just paid $105. There are past threads that talk about different types (this month).

What is the going rate for a 308QV air filter? I need to order one and want to make sure that my local dealer is not going to bend me over. Thanks.

Ken
