Tazio: If you crawl down into the footwells and look up to the base of the windscreen over the pedals on the drivers side (have a good worklight) you should find fasteners holding the front of the dash assy to the windshield frame. This will be duplicated on the pass. side. There should be about four points - work in from the A-pillar towards the center. The dash structure is just a GRP molding covered in leatherette, and can be damaged by over-enthusiastic manipulation. You'll probably find a flex-socket and extension helpful in reaching the nuts (cann't remember whether you'll need a 10mm or 13mm though). |

It was perfect and original which is far off from perfect and well built. I am making up for where the Italians fell asleep. |

Hey Tazio, Wasn't your car in perfect condition when you got it? What's with all the changes? |

I'm just wondering how to remove the complete dashboard on my 77 308 GTB? The following is what I have removed so far: - The A pillar trim on both sides - The steering wheel - The 2 screws on each side that are on the side of the dash at the base of the A pillar (the ones visible when the doors are opened) - The upper dash pod and instrument cluster - The steering column has been lowered so the ignition key will not get in the way of the removal - The bolt that is between the fuse block and radio - I have removed the three vents on the top of the dash but have not removed the plastic rings that they push into (it does not appear as though these should get in my way) From under the hood I cannot see anything that is holding the front portions of the dash in place however it is still very stuck. Does anyone know how to get the dash out?
