Hey thanks guys. I thought that was it but thought it was a bit large. I think I am going to take the wheel well off tonight or tomorrow and it should be pretty much accessible after that. Thanks a million, you guys are life savers. Jay |

Well ...look at those pics again...the clutch slave on a Mondial (not on that 308)) will be to the left of the bell housing about 1/2 the way up the side, right by the front exhaust header. On a Mondial you can reach the slave cylinder either from underneath or thru the fenderwell. |

The bleed screw is on the upper most point of the slave cylinder which is mounted on the side of the bellhousing toward the firewall. It is a little tight in that area. I had rather have my back jackstand a little further to the rear just so I don't have so much weight toward the rear of the car. On the front I put them either on the front jacking point or under the lower suspension arm. |

Can anyone tell me the exact location of the clutch fluid bleeder valve screw on an '82 Mondial? I know it's suppose to be somewhere near the Clutch Housing and Oil Pan but I'd like to know the exact location before I get the car in the air. Now that I brought it up, is it OK to put jack stands under the metal tube frame near the jacking points? If not, where are the proper support points located. Hey, thanks guys, it would help me a million. Jay |
