Hey Stu, You and I must be on the same wave length. What you wrote is exactly what I wrote to Robert on email. Are you tapping my lines? Just kidding.

Scott's right - the info on ferrariclub.com is helpful. I found it much easier to remove the steering wheel first. From there it's as simple as removing the screws behind each of the four lights in each corner of the guage face plate. The entire face plate - guages and all - will fall into your hands. The temp guage will be easy to remove and replace from there. Feel free to call me if you have any questions - I done this a couple of times.

Go to Ferrariclub.com and look at a section that gives FaQ's or useful tips. One of these tips will be about how to make the dash lights more bright, by replacing some simple bulbs. This should get you on the right track on how to remove the instrument cluster. Now, about where to find the temp gauge, I'll leave that up to someone else to anwser.

I have a 82 308 gtbi euro. I need to replace the temp guage, I believe it is bad. The temp has been running fine until the other day when it pegged 120c. I bled the bleeders, checked flow, checked top and bottom of radiator for equal temp, the car did not smell hot, fans operated, no thudding of radiator or overflow from tank, must be guage. I tapped it with my finger and it dropped just below 90c and climbed again. Once again I tapped it and it seemed to stay there. Now I need some info on how to remove the guage from the dash pod. Took a look but not sure where to start. Also I plan to replace this guage with a farenheit scale guage. From what I can tell these look like electric not mechanical guages? Any input will indeed help........thanks
