Chris, I can't tell you the "correct" Mondial wheel offset, all I can say for sure is that later model (< '89) Mondial (and NOT 308/328) non-ABS 16" wheels fit my '85 Euro/Cab that originally came with the 390mm metric wheels. This I know because we measured both the 16" and metric sets (sans tires so we had an accurate center line) against the same point on the frame. I bought the set on Ebay 3 years ago. - Frank |

The offset on my 308 QV (with the 16 inch wheels) is stamped somewhere on the inside. I pulled them off last week to have them refinished and noticed it then. I took notice only because I had just spoke with The Tire Rack about an inexpensive aftermarket wheel for use with track-only tires. His computer reference gave us a particular off-set number that differed from the offset number printed on my wheel. Anyway, what you are looking for may be stamped on your wheel also. That brings up another point. Be careful with the info you get from The Tire Rack. They are good folks and I do a lot of business with them and still do, but their data on 308's is way off. I ordered brake pads last year and they sent me something completely wrong. I called them and the brake info in their computers was incorrect for 308's. Also, the offset info was wrong as I just mentioned. Furthermore the website is still listing 4V 308's as having 14 inch wheels which they don't and as far as I know never had. That applies to the carbed pre-80 models. They took the pads back no problem and I in no way mean to imply that they don't know what they are doing, just be careful when ordering for 308's. Make sure what they are sending you is the correct part over the phone first just to avoid unnecessary delays. Hopefully they will get the fixes in soon. I still buy all my tires from them. |

If you got the stock Mondial QV wheels why not just measure it yourself? The offset may also be shown on the backside of the stock wheel spokes so pull a front and rear wheel/tire off, do the measurement, and see if something "encoded" on the backside is in the right ballpark. |

I am looking for the correct offset for both the front and rear wheels on this car. My local dealer was not less than helpful with this. Anyone? Chris |
