Every time I take my QV out I notice something new or hear a different noise. I worried for a while, now I just enjoy the experience. It's a long learning curve ! |

That's okay Scott, you have NEWFERRARIOWNERITIS SYNDROME. Symptoms: sweaty palms, increased heart rate, anxiety... It'll wear off in a couple of weeks (or months, or....). Pressures sound normal. I'd get readings like that. |

My just overhauled engine runs about the same as yours, maybe just a tad higher, but there are gauge differences. Your pressures are well within the normal ranges however. Go worry about something else. |

Sounds normal to me. My guage runs in the same area. |

Scott -- Sounds "normalish" to me. Check your OM -- both my ex-308 and TR OMs give the "get worried" oil pressure at 6000 RPM (and oil warm) as less than 64 psi. At idle (oil warm), anything >~20 psi is probably OKish. JMHO. |

Sorry for so many questions ya'll but I just bought this baby and I've got so many things to fix. Since I've had her, the idleing oil pressure is around 42psi or lower and the oil pressure at 6,000 rpm's is only 85psi. Is this good or bad, any suggestions? Thanks Scott |
