I contacted Koenig. They quoted me $48,400US installed.

"KOENIG Twin-Turbo 441 kW / 600 HP / 570 NM
complete engine conversion with 2 turbo-chargers (KKK), turbo-manifolds reduced compression, special turbo-pistons, 2 intercoolers, changed exhaust-system, modified motronic, special air flow-meters, including dissassembling and assembling of the engine.

output up to 441 kW / 600 HP / 570 NM
incl. Plexi-hood with Naca-inlet and drilled racing rear-grid for engine cooling"

I am going to contact my shipping company tommorow. I thought about it a lot and decided it would be better if I just used this as a track/street car. I'll just use my other cars for dragging.

btw, If any of you are interested in a brand new f40(only 280 miles) contact:

Vincent,

If your going to drag race it, At least find a strip with a couple of curves in it to slow down the straight axle cars your racing against...

...or why not just put nitrous and a straight axle in your 360... I bet if you could weld a 410 rear end on to it you could probably do good in the 1/8th too...Or even better yet you could replace the Ferrari engine with a 327 and get tons of aftermarket parts and power out of it...

bottom line is you've got the wrong tool for the job....

You will never come close to the Viper... The "premade" kits are usually like 600bhp setups and even after that you'll have a hell of a time trying to fit 335s or 345s on the back of a 360. Why not just get a Cobra replica and setup a 1200hp blown small block or big block running on pump gas... it would seem that would get the job done a lot easier and better for that matter.

Heh, make a fibreglass body and put a funny car chassis underneath and go drag racing properly. This has been done with a 308 in NZ.

If all you want to do with the 360 is drag it then you have not 'got it' yet.

50% of all that engineering is not going to be used going straight down the 1/4.
Pete
ps: I see nothing wrong with turbo'ing it, but dragging it is just a waste.

Do yourself (and us) a giant favor and stick with the Viper. Better yet, get a sport bike.

I dig silicone. Make the car whatever you want.

Ferraris are not bracket racers. They are designed as very high speed transport, the cluch is too light, the rear end is too low, you will just tear the car up.

If you can afford a 360 take the money and build the World's Fastest Viper instead. Trying to drag race a 360 is like buying the Kentucky Derby winner to pull your plow.

And putting turbochargers on that motor is like putting silicone titties on the Venus de Milo. Jesus, man, what are you thinking?

Hi guys! This is my first post and I am new to Ferrari's. I was wondering if there are any companies selling Turbo kits for a Ferrari 360 Modena. The primary purpose for the car is going to be drag racing. My primary car right now is a '99 Viper GTS 753RWHP/772RWTQ turbocharged by HMS. I have draged with numerous Ferrari's and none have come close to beating me. It seems that every Ferrari owner leaves the car stock. I wan't to purchase a 360 because of its sleek design and 400hp doesn't seem like a whole lot. Thanks for your input :-)
