Sorry, I think the bars are also slightly different. You might do better to drop the car 50mm or so, and run slightly higher tire pressures?? |

Before I bought mine, I drove several non-FHP cars. My '01 with FHP has noticeably quicker progression to unboosted steering, and very slightly stiffer overall damping. The only bad thing I've noted (and this had been confirmed by the dealer) is that the pads squeal mercilessly. Warranty fix is to remove them and goo them up, but even that is of limited efficacy! OUCH! As to retro-fitting, I'm pretty sure that everything is slightly different, e.g., springs for sure, shocks, damping programming, rotors and pads, along with steering boost and programming. Pretty extensive for a retro-fit. |

I haven't but I did drive a 575 with FHP. It feels much firmer and it corners much better. I am checking with the dealer and will keep you posted |

no answers, sorry, but please do keep us all posted. a number of 550 owners here have thought about that. have you driven an FHP 550? can you share your experiences in comparison to the stock setup? doody. |

I want to retrofit the FHP for my 550. Has anyone done it before. How much and where? |
