THIS IS AN UPDATE:
I have performed a dimensional layout of my TR's center-lug wheel. I then used CAD to draw out a blueprint showing the machining dimensions necessary for bolting up the spline adaptor, and also the outer cover ring. Now if I can find a comparable wheel, or a "blank" wheel, I can have a machine shop make the modifications to fit my "oddball" car. I still have to do some measuring to determine the offsets or backspacing, as the single-lug wheels do not contact the hub directly. Any possible candidate-wheel must have a flat center area of about 160mm in diameter to allow the machining required for the trim cover-ring to fit properly. I will continue to work on this subject and hopefully something will work out. There must be many others out there who, like me, are not willing to pay the outrageous prices vendors ask for wheels for our cars. If I can find a source for blanks I will pass that info. along also.

Can anyone tell me the 5-lug bolt circle size, hub diameter, and wheel thickness at the hub? I know this subject has been beaten to death, but as I look at my TR single lug wheels, I wonder if it's possible to machine normal 5-lug wheels to fit the spline adaptors? Seems like I've heard of this being done where a fella machined and adapted 512TR wheels to fit his early TR. I would like to get as much data as possible and then draw out using CAD, both types of wheels. If there is enough "overlap" maybe standard wheels could be modified to fit early TRs. This would open up lots of possibilities for us. Any knowledge and wisdom is greatly appreciated.
