Not yet Norman. I will be bringing it to the FOHK on Monday morning to have a full check. I found out the smell is mainly at the left back seat inside the cabin but never had any smell from outside of the car. Also, the smell was coming mostly after I accerelated in low gears with high rpm (around 4-5k rpm). Will let you guys know after the inspection.

Peter -- My Maser was consigned at IM at the moment. I might just meet you guys in Shek O in my Merc A190. Ha Ha! DjParks --- You might be right but I do understand why there is no fuel smell outside of the car rather than only in the cabin. Dr. Tommy -- I only filled up less than half tank I will call the agent and bring it over tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Let IM check it quick. Guess you won't be coming out this weekend in your 456. Take the Maser out. |

Ming GET THIS FIXED! Beside the risk of fire and explosion gas fumes are not good to be breathing. Best Jim |

My advice is DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR unless it is to a shop. I have seen many pictures of perfectly good Ferraris burned because of fuel leaks. It sounds like a fuel line was disturbed during your last service. The leak may have nothing to do with the back seat location as raw fuel and fumes can travel through out the car. Don't take the chance until you know for sure |

Hi everyone, I could smell the Gasoline inside my 456GT within these two weeks after replacing the T/O bearing. However, it is only a intermitent situation but I reckoned it is only noticeable at warm engine. Smell is a bit stronger at the rear-left seat inside the car. I admit this might be normal for a classic 308 but I don't think it is common in a 456. I did check on the previous threads but seems not the same situation. Any clue?
