WARNING Stay away from Jim Carpenter. I have had a run in with him as I know other chatters have also. If you want I can send you info directly or just ask Butch at ID&R. Trust me on this one. Henry |

Philip, I found 2 places. Butch at italian design and Jim capenter. I bought my GTO spoiler and front bumper form Jim, it is pretty well made, but they are GTO parts so they don't fit exactly. The spoiler is pretty close, for the bumper I had to make a set of adapters. The price was good, a little slow to ship. I bought my rear euro bumper from Butch and it is very well made and bolted right on, little more money though. I think I can dig up contact info if you want it. |

Tommy, if you need a top notch place to have your spoiler changed out, contact Marcel at www.corlettauto.com (here in Huntsville)... He does all the paint and body touch up on my 308QV. He even has a 308 on his business card and website logo! He's rebuilt my euro spoiler after some accidental "offroading" so he certainly knows what's involved in a remove and replace and/or repaint.

I have a US spoiler from my '84 QV sitting on the shelf, I went to a GTO spoiler. It's got a couple small dings, but it should be easily repairable, $300 and it's yours. |

There was someone selling fiberglass pieces on ebay some time ago - I imagine it is an easy enough part to make if you have the pattern. On prep and paint/color match, that stuff always seems to be expensive - $500 to $700 would be my gut but I am sure there are more educated thoughts out there. |

Just wondering: Anybody know what it would cost (estimated) to replace a Euro (deep) spoiler with the US version? What does the part cost and what would labor be approximately to have the conversion done plus paint? Is it better to get an OEM part or is aftermarket OK? Thanks in advance... |
