Yes. Between the front wheels under the car. It is a small plate that covers the throttle. if it is bent then your pedal will bind. I had the same issue. I removed the plate and straightend it out with a hammer and reattached it. Problem gone. I put a waterproof sealant around it to keep water out. |

with the cold weather the throttle on my 78 gts has been sticking...it is strange, in that there is no binding felt in the pedal....the carb linkages all move freely....the car has 72k miles on it and I have heard that the cables generally don't last more than 60k....Any other thoughts? vacuum leak?
