My TR (and all I've seen) have had the black sculpted version:
but I too went to the (more modern-looking IMO) 110mm chrome version:

brian is correct. the horse is simply held in place by a couple of bolts and easy to change out. |

All Testarossa's came from the factory with the flat (not "sculptured") black horse. The chrome "sculptured" horse is standard on the 512TR. |

My first TR had a yellow one. That should have given me a clue to stay away. wish that was the only problem it had. |

Henryk, most had the black horse but some had the chrome...both are original. It was dependent on the color of the car. Here's a white 512TR with chrome..

The horse emblem on the back of my 88TR is black and original also (the car is red) |

My 88TR has a "black" prancing horse emblem on the back of it (in the grill area above the license plate). I have seen some with a chrome emblem......which is correct? Did some years have chrome, or are all these after market? I believe my TR to be original. |
