There is a internal guide tube for dip sticK that must be remove to drop pan, unbolt dip stick guide where it attches to sump and then remove the 4 inch internal guide tube that goes from where nut was into pan. Don't forget to remove oil temp sending unit that screw into sump by shift linkage. |

Any competent Weld Shop useing TIG (Heliarc) can wld that. Filler rod should be 4043, which is vey common. |

I presum you mean the cover? they can be a little tricking to get off- because of the dip stick. Not sur eif you can weld this particular metal though - my want to get a new one fron Jeff in the UK |

hi all i have a crack on my oil sump and need to remove it to weld . up has anyone had any problems thanks in advance |
