Jeff,

>>...How about Rhoda ?!<<<

Hmm... all those parties as a studio/touring musician in Miami during the 80's must have burnt out those brain cells. Alas, can not recall :-(

Enjoy the Drive,

Peter (and Jeff),

Many thanks. Will need to get mine redone. Just what i need, more work (sigh).

Jeff, at today's bank rates 24.80 British Pound = 39.24848 US Dollar . (Humor here, relax my friend) Though your quoted price of $89.28 may be correct and include shipping and import duty :-)

Enjoy the Drive,

Speaking of horns, what ARE the original color of the stock metal horns?

If your compressor is shot, just go to Autozone and buy an air horn kit. You can use the stock horns on your 308 and the compressor from Autozone, they plug right up.

Don't even CONSIDER for one second paying $200 for a new compressor. Everyone here is correct, go to AutoZone or Wal-Mart. No difference except the $$$

The Fiamm brand air horns are available at most any auto parts store, check around. About $25 to 30 max.

Hi,

Are the horns you bought plastic or metal. My 85 308GTS QV has metal horns and, guess being an audiophile, find using metals horns best. Of course you COULD use stock horns and a different compressor :-)

I just bought a horn set off of ebay that I had installed in my 87 Mondial. It came with a compressor and horns and relay and cost only about $25.

Here is a link to an auction currently underway for the horns I bought. They would work for any 12 volt system, I'm sure.

My horn compressor's shot. I have priced a replacement at $200, which seems exhorbitant. Are there other compressors that will work? I have heard of some owners converting to an electronic horn. Any thoughts on this?
