My 1982 BB512i has the overhead console with lights. Also, it has a dark brown dash like the later TRs. The seats are tan with the same color brown inserts. The door panels are tan as well.

My dome light has a timer - stays on approximately 45 seconds after the door is closed.

There was an optional dash color - standard was black (I believe) but could be ordered with same color as seats (this sounds close, but there may have been another color combination, that is, standard was seat color, and option was something else). Could also order solid color without black lower-half, and wing color (standard black) same as the rest of the car.

Another Boxer factory option most don't know about was the dash. You could have a tan one instead of black.

Matt, I don't see why not....the module appears in the BBi parts manual, don't remember if the OM talks about it. I've only seen a few that had the option, probably because almost no one knows it even existed.

Matt, actually there was an *option* which consisted of a timer/delay control module that provided the additional intermittent function.

I still have a control module in stock from the old days when they were cars and guys might need wipers.

Intermittent? They have more then two speeds? off and slow?

Lucas must have made mine.

The Lucas Motto, "off, dim, flicker"

JRV, add that to you list of things to do!

If memory serves me correctly, the interior roof lights on the timer, with the map lights came about when Ferrari updated the Boxer electrics with FI that included power door locks, and the optional intermittent wipers control unit.
