A while back someone (?Ed Gault?) said they could get Transpo parts.
I'm looking for a someone who will sell me a couple of Transpo part #: 02179002 - BOSCH 28mm slip rings replacement .
(Transpo only sells wholesale.)
I have a 308 QV BOSCH alternator rotor that's perfectly good except for deep grooves worn in the slip rings.
While I'm at it, I want to acquire at least one spare slipring.
BTW, I'm pretty sure that these slip rings will fit just about all of the 308 BOSCH alternators.
Also, Transpo makes replacements for the BOSCH voltage regulators. One of the replacements is adjustable so you can tune it for your particular battery!
