I had to helicoil the drainplug on my ex-348 for the same reason. |

It's not an uncommon problem on all F drain plugs unfortunately (but I don't know if 348s had some more specific problem/fix)... |

Anyone here ever changed their oil and found that the drain plug has stripped the threads on the sump reservoir? I recently changed the oil on my 348 and found that the drain plug was totally stripped... the interim solution was to remove the drain plate on the sump (held in by 4 nuts) and remove the drain plug. Are there any service bulletins that fixed this problem?
