For what it's worth, Mike, I just sold a 5 piece set of 512TR luggage for $3500. It was brand new, never out of the original Shedoni bubble wrap. I have another set that I use several times per year, for which I paid $1000. I suspect you can find some between those two extremes. The black is much rarer than the tan (I think the tan looks better.

Thanks for the responses guys. I forgot that the earlier TR had a spare tire. I will put an add in FML and see what happens. I don't really need the luggage, but it would be nice to have. 5000 euros for the set in the UK is just a bit too much though.

Agree with Frank: I bought a tan set (6 pieces, with bags) for my TR for $1200. These where perfect, with NO use. It included all the keys, and tags.

Michael. keep looking . Run an Ad in the FML. I bought a new set for my 348 a couple of years back for $1200.00. I bought a set for my 1986 TR around 5 years ago for $1800.00. Prices should be lower now.

The testarossa luggage was made to fit with the spare tire in the front compartment. The 512TR set is made to fit with only the 512TR tool kit in the front compartment, and has "512TR" stamped on it, as opposed to "testarossa". The 512TR set has 2 large suitcases, 2 small "train" cases and an attache. Hope this helps.

My Testarossa luggage has "testarossa" stamped on each piece. As Greg, I don't know about the fit.

Because each luggage set is stamped, according to the car, I would recommend getting the appropriate set for your car.

Gents,

Does anyone know if the factory optional luggage for a Testarossa will fit in a 512TR. I am assuming that they are one in the same.
