what model K&N did you fit? How often do you clean and re-oil it?

Larry,
Thanks for the info. Would you know if there is a difference between a K&N and Tubi?

Arman,

If a dealer performed the service a UFI filter (OEM) would probably be included. The Tubi (TSI) filter or K&N filter is an optional aftermarket filter.

I paid about $35.00 for a K&N for my 348 and since I can safely operate a flathead screwdriver by myself and had about 10 minutes with just nothing better to do, I did it myself.

You might want to re-think their offer.

If you need some more info on this ...just ask.

good luck,

I just had the 15k mile service done on my car. I called the dealer which performed the service and asked them why they did not install a K&N or Tubi airfilter. I was told by them that they forgot to mention that option to me and offered to install a Tubi airfilter for $120 and no labor charge. Does that sound right? I just paid them $4500 for the service. Shouldn't the Tubi airfilter be included with that hefty charge?
