Rob, I tried emailing you and got bounced back today...fire me off a email at [email protected] maybe I am losing my mind and screwed something up. I am also interested in talking about cylinder head work, if you have any experience. |

Rob, I will fire you an email off tonight when I get home from work. I am building a 75% track car 25% road car. I have come to enjoy the Ferrari on the track, but the suspension has been giving me some problems lately (well last year being that I live in Minnesota). After removing some rear members it looks as if the old bushings are wore down pretty bad. The first thing that popped into my mind was Poly but now your teflon solution is also very interesting. On my Porsche 914-v8 I put poly in and it made a world of difference on the AutoX track as well as larger tracks. I just figured the same would occur for the Ferrari in terms of less deflection and a more sturdy feel that the Porsche picked up. Thanks for all the help my man you are a real asset to this board. I look forward to talking to you about this. |

John, Are you building a track car? I can help you, send me an email. I can set your suspension up to handle like a 355 Challenge, or anywhere in between. Let me know, Rob FWIW, I beleive 348 Challenge suspension bushings are still available, though the last time I priced them it was about $75 / bushing (x 16). They are better than polyurethane in that it is a true Teflon lined steel bushing that has virtually no deflection and reduces friction better. |

Hey guys does anyone out there know that exact poly brushings from Energy Suspension that you need for a 348. I am pretty sure it is a mix of 30mm and 34mm, but am not sure and want to ask the crew here before purchasing any. I have the 348 parts and workshop manuals but none list the part number I find on ES's webpage http://www.energysuspension.com/fer.html as being the OEM number. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreicated as always! Also does anyone know anywhere else the sells suspension components for the 348? John |
