Mike...Steve is asking the correct question. My '84 Euro QV has all of the federalization papers, but the exhaust system is definitely not US legal. Headers and muffler, that's all she is. |

Hi all. Just had a look - we have got a lot of this emission stuff in stock. Have looked on 308QV USA and we have the air manifolds, cut-off valve and pressure switch in stock. Assuming Dollartaker's talking USA gear... Anyway - hope this helps. |

Steve's right. No belt-driven air pumps on the 84-85's, only the 83's. |

I should have also mentioned to look at the '85 308QV US OM -- it's got some decent illustrations/descriptions of the air injection system, fuel vapor control system, etc. (including the location of the injection ECU -- rear trunk). |

Mike -- Are you asking what would be the stock (not US legal) set-up for an '85 Euro 308QV, or what one might expect to find on a '85 Euro 308QV that has been modified (correctly) to meet US requirements? Either way, I think you could get a lot of information by reviewing the relevant US and Euro SPC pages on the FerrariUK site. From what I've picked up the later '84-'85 US 308QVs don't have a belt-driven airpump, but they still have an air injection system of some type. If you follow the O2 sensor lead(s) it should go to whatever module (lambda computer?) is controlling the thing (frequency valve?) that is electrically tweaking the mixture. |

Can someone tell me exactly what parts are required for the emissions system? I have parts of them intact, however I am compiling a list of what I need. What I can physically see: 1. vapor canister 2. Exhaust cats(holes where air pump tubing fits are plugged. 3.filler neck restrictor. Where is the air pump located on a 308? Where would the lambda computer be? Thanks Mike |
