Just tight enough so that they can't come off of the pulleys. Watch the cable while running the window up & down a few times. Should run smoothly, w/no sign of binding up. |

You want them fairly tight. Any slop will cause the window to bind. Not guitar string tight. The roller at the bottom of the door is where you will adjust the cable.... |

Got the windows working. Now the question is, how tight do the cables need to be on the pully system? As tight as can be? Slightly slack or able to be plucked like a guitar string. thanks |
