Just a late not fully relavent note... On my TR the intake plenums are done with an slightly silver wrinkle finish..the cam covers in red the paint used for that is: Krylon Rust Tough Enamel High Gloss RTA 9210 Radiant Red It's been on without trouble for almost a year and a couple thousand miles without any problems. No need for high heat stuff, that I can see. -Ben |

Kevin, Herb was talking about a paint he used which he thought was great. It was brought up in a thread about painting brake calipers. You can go to the archives at keyword and check under brake calipers. |

Hi Guys: I'm considering refurbishing the inlet plenum on my 328 GTS, however I'm not sure how I should proceed. Should this be done with a powder coat application? Or can it be accomplished with a high-temp spray paint? What was the original (factory) color? Any thoughts will be appreciated Thanks, Kevin M Saratoga NY |
