John,
Mine are shot too.
I was today at PEP BOYS and found that the brand that they are dealing with makes them for the 308. Not in stock but they can get it. Sorry I can't remember the brand name. I remember it was a dark blue package.
I would check when I get home and update you if you can't find it.

Thanks for checking, Jeff. I'll try Rutlands and Butch Hooper next...

There are several companies that part out 308s listed in this recent thread:

Any leads? This would be the deck strut itself and the portion that rides in the track guide, not including the cable or the U-joint that attaches to the deck lid.

It's a fiberglass car if that makes a difference.

Long story regarding WHY I need such an obscure part: First the U-joint at the top broke. Very common malady. I ordered a new U-joint but didn't bother installing it, because at the time I was playing with the carbs and R&R'ing the deck lid frequently. That worked fine until the roll-up cable at the base of the strut broke, leaving the strut unattached at both ends. The next time I opened the rear hatch, presto! No more strut. :-P

I understand these are no longer available from mainstream Ferrari suppliers, so it may need to come from someone parting out a carb car.
