I did the same thing to my TR......small kinks in the side panels.

This was done when I used the lift to remove the rear tires only.......used only the rear arms. When the lift went up, the side of the lift arm pushed on the panels, from both sides, due to the angle. Live and learn!!!!!

Took it to the local repair shop......$100 to fix and paint both sides.......looks like new.

I've got that problem on my 308. Looks pretty obvious that somebody tried to lift it from the wrong place. Don't know what it would take to fix it. Mine is steel.

I had this repaired by a body shop. They took some type of tool used for this type of repair on other cars and did a great job. Mine looks like new now and before looked like a disaster. If you are talking about the "rocker" ridge that is. It is a common thing. Good luck!

The only place I have speed bump damage is right on the jack pick up locations. MAN that's hard steel! I can not bend them back.

Mine are steel, and very hard steel I might add. They probably need to get drilled & filled. But, heck, Iduno.

The skirts under and low between the side wheels (wheel base).

I thought they were steel, not plastic. (try putting a magnet to them)

Where? Do you mean in the wheel wells? The rockers on my 328 are railed with this thin looking steel seam that is nearly impossible to bend unless you do it on a speed bump.

In some previous time a mechanic(s) lifted my car at the wrong points and did damage to the hard plastic side skirts. It's not very noticable unless you're down low or looking at the car from a distance.

Has anyone had this before and how did you fix it?

Can you remove them and bang them out?
