Tommy, not only are the wheel diameters not equal, the tire bead configuration for the 390 "TRX" tires is unique for the 390 wheel. It is the difference in the bead for a 16" wheel and the 390mm wheel that may be the larger of the two concerns... |

Those are the dreaded Metric rims. They are NOT 16inch rims and they do not hold 16 inch tires. They use the TRX tires. |

No Tommy they are NOT 16" rims. 390mm calculates out to be 15.35" or so. I don't know when Ferrari started using metric sizes, but I believe they made both traditional english and metric sizes into the late 1980s. Perhaps something to do with the cars destination being either Europe or the U.S. In my opinion stay away from metric rims unless they are practically given to you for free. |

Kind of confused between the 390 and 16" rims. Some people on the net are selling 390 rims claiming that they are the 16" rims. My question is are they 16" or not ?? and what year did Ferrari started installing them ?? Thank in advance. Tommy A |
