Brian:

Where are you located in PA? I am 15 minutes outside of Philly. If you are nearby, perhaps we can get together for a drive.

As to your question, before you start the car make sure the battery is fully charged, all of the fluids are at their proper level, and the tire pressures are ok. Also do a general check to make sure there are no leaks and everything looks ok. Then start the car and let it idle for a good 5 minutes. Drive the car slow without going over 3,000 RPM's until the oil temp hits 180. This may take a good 15-20 minutes. Once you the oil temp hits 180 slowly bring the revs up. When everything is warmed up and the car is ready to go, redline it and enjoy the drive.

Hi, I'm a fairly new (summer '02) 348 spider owner (first Ferrari!)and I was wondering if I could get some help? Due do a really bad winter here in PA I havn't been able to drive the 348 for almost 5 months. Is there any recommended spring maintainence that needs/should be done? thanks!!
