Looked high and low for a similar pump without the name 'Ferrari' on it. This is not a GM part like the 308. The only other place this pump is used is on a Rolls-Royce (believe it had a differnet bracket too). Forget NAPA etc etc - waste of time. Pay the bucks for a 'Ferrari' PN pump - or pull it off and forget about it. Tried to rebuild my pump, but couldn't get it apart to access the main shaft bearing/ sleeve. Make sure your check valves are fully operational or moisture will get in the new pump and rot it out. |

The air pump on a TR is not made by GM like 308's. Sorry, I can't remember what the name is on it. Been a while.... |

Are you planning on replacing it just to pass emission inspections? |

Bruce...are you referring to the air pump that injects air into the cyl. head exhaust? I agree with Frank, it is a GM part. But the pump is only used when the engine is in "warm-up" operations after start up. After that the pump is deactivated and is just along for the ride. I removed my pump and all the plumbing. It really cleaned up the engine bay as well as removed about 20 pounds from the car. Perhaps you might consider removing yours? Or just leaving it on the car but not running it? |

I believe it is a GM part that you should be able to cross reference and buy from NAPA. Carry it to a NAPA dealer and see if they can match it up. |
